We know that Women of Colour face unique challenges at work that impact their professional growth and overall wellbeing. And we know support, advice, and resources are limited, and do not consider the contexts, intersections, values, and needs of Women of Colour.
Through a blended approach that combines storytelling, guided reflections, and group activities, we will explore how our lived experiences shape our career paths, set intentional goals for our future, and cocreate pathways for taking care of ourselves and our communities.
Together, we’ll tap into the wisdom we carry, individually and collectively, release what no longer serves us, and name what we truly want next.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Unpack how the ‘Concrete Ceiling’ shows up at work, identify the unique barriers we face in our day-to-day, and cocreate strategies to navigate them;
Reflect on the personal, cultural, and systemic experiences and stories that have shaped our career journeys and professional growth;
Recognize and reframe internal narratives and limiting beliefs that are holding us back, and limiting our growth, visibility and fullfillment;
Gain clarity on what “success” looks like on our terms, and gain the knowledge, confidence, and tools to map tangible, sustainable next steps;
Connect with a supportive global community of Women of Colour navigating similar paths, and build a sense of connection, solidarity, and shared understanding.
